My Story

Throughout the last 30 years, I have worked within multiple areas that have lead me to be passionate about starting my career as a counsellor. I have worked within the NHS as a health care assistant, giving quality care to patients within hospitals. I also spent 20 years working within a school helping children develop in a safe and nurturing environment. I started off my career in counselling in 2017 training with Chrysalis, the first year being hypnotherapy. I then went onto complete the next stage of my training and received my Advanced diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2020. Following that I completed and qualified with a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2021.

I work from home within my private counselling rooms in Aylesbury and Bristol, offering you a warm and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings and discuss any issues you feel you need some support with.

I have experience helping in a range of areas, including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationships and I specialise in bereavement. I feel very passionate about helping people to make changes for the better in their lives, however small. My aim is to create a safe place for you to be heard and a place where you can be yourself. I will give you time to express yourself at your own pace. I am experienced in talking therapies using a humanistic approach which will be personal to your needs. I am a warm, caring person who will walk alongside you on your journey. Working together we will look at your concerns from your perspective, explore your feelings and help you to move forward.
