Hi my name is Michaela, I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor working in Bristol and Aylesbury. I know how hard it is to take those steps when looking for a counsellor, trying to decide which counsellor sounds like they will be right for you while not feeling judged or that your concerns are not worthy of talking about. Through working together I can offer you a safe, confident space to explore your thoughts and feelings and talk through any issues you feel you need some help with. I believe it is important to feel listened to so you feel you are being heard. I can offer you this while relating to you on a human level with warmth and empathy.

Throughout the last 30 years, I have worked within multiple areas that have lead me to be passionate about starting my career as a counsellor.
I have worked within the NHS as a health care assistant, giving quality care to patients within hospitals. I also spent 20 years working within a school helping children develop in a safe and nurturing environment.
I started off my career in counselling in 2017 training with Chrysalis, the first year being hypnotherapy. I then went onto complete the next stage of my training and received my Advanced diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2020. Following that...
